Pack heavy items, eg. books in small boxes. Pack light items in bigger boxes. Seal all boxes. This gives them more strength. Buy tape marked 'Kitchen' or 'Master Bedroom' etc, from UHAUL. Have a garage sale prior to moving. This will save you money by not moving unused and unwanted items. We have clothing racks which will hold about 10' of hanging clothes, so you need not pack them. We will load them directly from your old closet to our racks, hang them in our trucks, then hang them directly to your new closet. Empty chests of drawers of heavy items, eg. sheets, books etc. (underwear & PJ's are ok). Place all cables, electrical or tv or games, in one box. Keep several Ziploc bags handy for moving day for miscellaneous screws, nuts and bolts. Place pictures in collapsed boxes for safe transport. Seal the ends with strong tape!
